Here we are at Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe. It was a beautiful day and we had just taken a hike to Eagle Falls.

Point Reyes National Seashore

Sunday we went over to the coast with another couple to explore this peninsula north of San Francisco. We'll definitely go back another time to see more.

Weekend in Glendale, CA

Alumni were invited to join the Glendale Adventist Academy choir for a special song. Al is on the far right in back.

This is Glendale Adventist Academy where we had lunch and Al went on a tour of the grounds and other buildings.

This CA quail was sitting on our deck railing a long time--just waiting for his picture to be taken. He and his mate will hatch at least a dozen babies this spring.

Today's walk

We went to Hennesey Lake for a walk in the heat mid-afternoon. There's a road for walking on 2 sides. We took the shadier side.

We're on top of this ridge, the second highest dune. My legs are still sore from the climbing.

Al is roughing a trail I didn't take as it seemed too risky.
