Hospital work
Today I got a chance to do something different in Human Resources. I filed a zillion pages of employee records in current files. I have dozens of outdated records left over to put in former employee files. The office is way behind in filing because they haven't had a volunteer for awhile. It was a good day.

Paperwork can be rewarding, especially if you can see the point of what it needs to do. One of my favorite jobs as a teenager before I entered the job market was sorting prunes as they came off the orchard in big crates. It was messy work, but it gave me a sense of accomplishment, and that matters more than anything else!
