I feel compelled to express my views on this topic which just happens to be in line with the Bible. Do you know how much H.P. has done to increase the number of members in Wicca (witchcraft)? Let God speak to the issue:
"When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in withchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
"Anyone who does these things is detestaable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God." Deut. 18:9-13
This is just one of many texts telling God's people to avoid anything close to the occult. I invite my readers who think H.P. is okay to check out the web site avoidharrypotter.com if you dare to find out why it isn't a harmless book.
