Al's birthday

Al's sister and husband came over tonight for supper. She brought homemade ice cream (yum) and I made a blackberry pie. It meant spending most of the day, and a beautiful one at that, in the kitchen. It was all good though. We played Scrabble after eating. It was a first for Ellie. Bud was a pretty good player. Maybe we'll do it again some time.
