This morning I woke up feeling itchy and now I have blisters with new affected areas. I'm giving up on the charcoal and sticking with Caladryl. I noticed that the bottle expired in 1993. Oh well, it seems to still be effective.
The first thing Al said this morning was an insect bit him several times during the night. I looked at the spots and it's poison oak in my opinion. He's still in denial. He has been digging up the roots from these plants along the side of our property all last week. He thinks he's immune to getting it. We'll see what he's saying by tonight.
In the meantime, I'm wondering how long this stuff will last. It's only been 3 days but I'm very weary of it. I just try to keep busy and not think about it. I'm just thankful it's not on my legs or torso. Every inch of clear skin is a blessing.

Tell dad that I wish I was immune like him!
if it is poison ivy, i am not sure digging them up will get rid of them. they may need to be killed!
