Hot, hot, hot

Today we had to go to Napa on business and Al also wanted to buy a couple fruit trees at WalMart so we had to take the truck. It doesn't have airconditioning. We had hot, dry air blowing on us there and back. The poor trees suffered in the wind too. The leaves on the plum tree were dry when we got home. Hopefully it will survive. The other is a Jonathon apple and it faired much better.

I got 2 more windows washed on the outside. Fortunately they've never had sprinkler water on them. I've got one window to go. Of course, those I washed earlier still have spots so don't look all that clean. But hey, they're better.

We hope it cools down tonight to sleep. There's no wind now and 90's temps are predicted for the rest of the week. It had to be 100 in the valley this afternoon.
